"Support our Troops" magnets ...

... are one of the most brilliantly marketed products I've seen in years. Seems like every other car I see on the road has (at least) one of these magnets on the back.

"Support our Troops" ... it's just genious. The packaging does not even imply that any of the funding from the magnets might go to a good cause, yet still hundreds of millions of people feel compelled to shell out $3- $5 a pop for these babies.

Every 7-11 you walk into has 'em for sale, and can't you just here the wholesaler's sales pitch? "So ... what you're saying is that you DON'T support our troops? You're 7-11, an American standard... That's not gonna look good. You really better sell these magnets. It's the only way to PROVE that you support our troops." lol ...

You know what I'm saying?
