not sure if their ever down, I never looked much into TGP traffic.
If I had to guess, its always winter somewhere.. like right now its colder in other countries than the states, European countries, United States and Canada are the big porn buyers.. they make up most the sales.
So if its winter in China and everyones at home online, U.S traffic would be down but the other countries traffic would make up for it, and since they buy less ratio's get worse.
Of course, I'm talking out of my ass here and I'll admit that.. theres a ton of reasons why sales decrease for TGP's during the summer.. mostly because theres a lot more to do in the states when its warm, making sitting at home looking at porn less inticing that it would be in the colder months.
Then your also using "recycled" traffic, people who know where to look for porn, and get it for free. Combine that with summer where their less likely to spend their money on porn because of better things to do outdoors.
Then theres people who's traffic source is mostly fresh meat, people who are new to the internet and have no idea where to look to find porn for free.. they get hit first by these guys first and since they dont know any better they go ahead and buy
