For many online businesses people definitely see a peak in sales in the winter.
The pattern for many ebayers *because this was discusses ad nauseum on their boards as well over the years* was summer slow, fall would pick up, Christmas would be normal *surprisingly* and business would actually be best from January through Spring.
A lot of this was contributed to the fact that many families recieved computers for Christmas, and for many others the cold winters would keep them indoors doing a lot of surfing.
This next part is just my opinion.
Now, as high speed internet reaches many more homes, and more and more people have computers in their homes we may see less of an impact on sales due to the fact that because it's summer / vacation time here, it is not elsewhere.
