You missed the point of the article and the post, Skype is considering going IPO, and with the success that vonage has gained, and the installed base of skype, along with the fact that the technology is very impressive, it will be the next big thing to hit the financial markets and i am sure morgan stanley is just itching to rack up their fees on the IPO.
Skype may be yet another post-dot-com company that makes it to the wall street darling status... i know my startup didn't
