We did a soft launch on July 1st and now we have the site in a place where we feel comfortable with really pushing it.
The concept is that the internet community represents earth, and earth is challenging a poker pro to a heads up no limit tournament.
The site is free, it's all for fun and learning.
You log in, you see the action and all pertinent information such as the blinds, the level etc and you can discuss it on the forums then vote.
Once the votes are tallied the majority wins and that's the action the earth takes.
Our present poker pro is Mark Gregorich who is a top pro and an Omaha specialist.
You might recall seeing him on Poker Superstars 1 he was one of the announcers, he also co-authored the Omaha section with Bobby Baldwin for Super System 2 and is a contributing author for Card Player as well.
We will be having other pros in the future tackling earth, some pretty big names have been approached..
This has been a fun project, I love poker and anything involved with poker. Not to mention getting to work with and know some of the top pros in the poker industry.
