If you go to your Start Menu, click Run and type in msconfig, then click the tab that says Startup you will find that it is indeed in your startup. Just uncheck qttask, click apply, then OK.
This could all be avoided if you follow the advice I gave in my earlier post to not install the QuickTime player and instead install
QuickTime Alternative
