I went through the whole thread and this was the closest answer to the original question. The reason you need all the memory is for users into podcasting - say you missed hearing Rush Limbaugh in the car today...
so you download the podcast - that's a three hour audio file - and you listen at your leisure - a few of those every day and...
I'm going to convince Kourosh to podcast his YNOT radio show so we are not locked into listening at a certain time or forced to go into the archives...
