Possible reasons:
1. Their bland popular culture is one of their major exports.
2. Many Americans truly believe they can "do Europe" in two weeks.
3. Many Americans know very little about the world outside of the USA.
4. Their accents are FUCKING IRRITATING
5. On a per capita basis they use an OBSCENE amount of the worlds natural resources .
6. They are imperialist swine.
7. They are full of themselves.
