Some things are closer, some things aren't. My point is that his point is pointless since Canadians aren't spending their time driving between Vancouver and Montreal anymore than Europeans are driving between Helsinki and Barcelona, they're just driving around their own city like everyone else in the world, except they're paying $2 CDN per litre to do it.
