Things that make me go "hmmm":

Hello Everyone! Once again, thanks for visiting my website! This week alone, I got 341 hits! That's double the hits from the previous week! Now if all of those people would just send me a dollar... I'd be RICH! Seriously though, I did receive $125!'

Granted, it's very early in her program, but that's averaging better than 36 cents a hit AND it is $125 in her third week, not counting her e-bay auctions (which promo her site, which promos the auctions).

So, she's using viral word-of-mouth promotion (by-passing the work of submitting to SE, TGP, Top Lists and such) that certainly has been effective (got us to look, eh!), she's getting a great return per visitor, made more in her third week than most of us can expect after 6 months (if you're starting now) and is running a zero risk of ever being investigated by a law enforcement agency, sued for a copyright oversight or cheated by a russian.
