Mine use to die after 15 minutes, I figured out the problem. I killed 3 ipods, all by connecting it to my usb port. I decided to connect it to my firewire port and haven't had an issue with my ipod this time round thank fuck.
The space isnt really an issue, I've got maybe 16gb used. People who have 40gb+ can't possibly listen to all those songs.
