Just make sure they're clean, and have a very low tolerance for dirtiness.

Someone who can't stand a couple dishes in the sink and washes them up (even if they're not hers) is always good. Same goes for washroom, kitchen, etc.

Also girls that cook and are generous are always good. I suggest a cleaning schedule and dividing fridge/cupboard space be done in the first day you guys move in.

Figure out how the bills are going to be paid. All bills in one person's name, or 1 person each bill. It's easier to just have 1 person take care of the bills and everyone else just pay him.

One last tip, get an unlimited long distance plan for about $20-30 to save the headache and possible arguments over who made what calls.
