You understand this business a lot better than most people do-
There is a little too much homophobia in our business, however it IS proportional to how much homophobia there is in the world.
You have to agree however that there are a lot of gay people who DO love to shock , and overtly flirt with straight guys- I know a lot of Gay men who fantasize about turning a straight guy out-
That's fine as long as the other person being flirted with is down with it-
I also have to agree there is a double standard when it comes to this.
I see a lot of inappropriate behavior at shows that are of a heterosexual nature as well-
People just don't know how to act sometimes-
I think we can agree that gays are a minority, and it would be foolish not to see why a lot of people who flew to Internext from all over the globe, would be a bit hyper sensitive to gay people.
If I am a Jew travelling in Southern Georgia, I wouldn't exactly wear my Star Of David in full few Aryan Ku Klux Klan types- and although you can't identify who are the Klan- you have a pretty good feeling tha you may not be welcomed with a Bundt cake.
