Ive heard the same... They are awesome when they are young... very dependant on their owners and very lovable. But as they age... like 8-10 years old they become very independant, mean and they are strong as hell. It takes a true trainer and expert to handle them at that point. They have tempers simaliar to humans and they act out when they get pissed.
