The military would be on shaky ground. Any arrest would have to evolve out of congress in the way of an impeachment. That would just kick him out of office. Then the Justice department under the Attorney General could issue an arrest warrant. That would be following Grand Jury proceedings. If he were still in office, there would be a constitutional question if anyone really had the power to arrest a president before impeachment?
Not an attorney or law professor, so the comments are what they are. Do you really want a military coup? Trust me, that would NOT be a good thing.
