Totally pointless. You have a car that isn't a Ferrari, no longer an NSX.
I could understand if you're TPT and you want to turn your Fiero into a Testarossa or you want to turn your Mustang into an Excalibur, but this is stupid. Destroy one awesome car to create a fake of a car it will never be.
