I have a friend that use to pass out in little naps/sleeps through out the day. We use to surf together all the time. A few times, he would pass out while sitting on his surfboard. There's been so many times where i would catch a wave and instead of getting the full ride out of it, I would have to back out because i noticed he was passed out on his surfboard while a big set was about to roll in. That fucker use to ruin all my good rides.

But obviously i couldn't have him get slammed by some waves while crashed out on his board. The only good thing about the situation is he use to buy the pizza and beer after a good surf session as payment for keeping his ass alive out there in the water in case he feel asleep.

For my buddy, it was a medical condition...though i don't remember what that condition is called.
