Rapture how about this... "religious" people have there ideals about pushing their beliefs on you, Hell if they could they would probably strip your free will away from you as well. Seems like the biggest gift that God has given us "freewill" besides life probably and you are going ahead and saying "Fuck you, I'm right your wrong" stripping away the choices with what we were given.
We all have choices we have to make, I don't necessarily think we can be judged on such either considering all the factors. Wrong choices can be influences by mental health, love, peer pressure? So their true selves never make the choice but rather influence that gave the individual some clouded frame of mind. I mean Hell... people that are depressed and end up committing suicide goes automatically to Hell to become a tree? Some minds are weaker then others and obviously in judgement was clouded so why should he spend eternity as a tree for a clouded judgement he made in his 20 year life span? I can go on about that...
Also everything is based off of cause and effect with the ripples of freewill. People have made choices in my opinion to taint or possible completely come up with the thought of religion. So does this necessarily make things wrong or possibly right? In my opinion everything is right in the big picture no matter how horrible or how pleasant it may seem.
Personally I don't think the meaning of life is as pleasant or fullfilling as people think but this is all just my opinion.
