2000 years ago in this ancient world God sent His son, born from a virgin, to give the perfect example of what God orginally intended man to be in the Garden of Eden before Adam brought sin to the world. His purpose was to be beaten, mocked, tortured and ultimately crucified on a rugged cross in our place .....for our sins. When it should have been us, He went in our place. he cried out "God! Why have you forsaken me?" as His bloody body hung there because God cannot look on sin and that point Jesus had taken the sins of the world on himself. But we are save by His Blood. And He rose from the dead after 3 days having taken the keys of death, hell and the grave from that old Devil, Satan. Satan is defeated and now we have the free gift of salvation which is come from God and only our sin will seperate us from receiveing it.
