And now that I've been educated about real networking I'm going to pull out all the Ciscos and Junipers and replace them with BSD boxes with lots of T1/Ethernet interfaces and Xyplex routers. I don't know yet how I'll migrate over all the CEF, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, ISL, HSRP and MPLS but I'm sure there's a BSD hack out there somewhere. If not we'll hire a team to design some new protocols, hardware and software from scratch. The last thing we would want to do would be to look like we imitated someone else and didn't innovate every step of the way.

... It don't change the fact that the Juniper from
the Lucent from the Asend from the Netstar are still
directly related to 27 year old tech STOLEN by Cisco
from Stanford....
Atleast Xyplex was 100% ground up... and I do have
the only one ever in existance to run commerically
BGP4
No guys, this is NOT geek fighting. This is just seeing
how big the sandbox is. Geeks can't fight without a
24 of beer, a bottle of hard liquor and atleast 2 strippers.
Cheers!
