Well this is getting ugly now. I'm out.
But just know that I don't really agree with the idea that one can refrain from paying for design work based on the ongoing performance or "productivity" of the design. In my mind work is work and must be paid for. Unless you have it in a contract that the designs will be tested before payment will be sent..... but as a designer I would never agree to something like that.
In my opinion, you pay for the design.... then if it doesn't perform up to par the designer should be willing to do the odd tweak here or there (within reason) to make improvements.
Very little room for public displays of rejection when you do that.
