You obviously are not aware of the multitude of products that have come from space exploration nor do you realize for every $1 the US Government spends on NASA it makes $7 from corporate and personal income taxes created by increased jobs and economic growth. I never said i was a hippie in favor of food stamps or welfare - those programs are just as fucked up
but i do love that scene, forget the movie - where the guy is selling steak he bought with food stamps ha ha hah
