That's it. No more.

I have officially quit the movie industry. As some of you know I do (well... did) Special Make-up Effects for the movie industry for nearly 10 years. It's the only real job I ever had. It's a brutal, shallow business, but I've grown to love it, and even though I'll be moving on to greener pastures, I'm still pretty sad about leaving my friends.

I used to complain a lot about my boss, and the industry, and in some strange way I'm going to miss the drama.

I wish I could have given him more, but the door of opportunity would have closed as soon as it was opened, I had to act fast. And even though I gave him only one day notice, he wished me luck at my new job. He also took me too lunch, and paid for my alcohol. The entire day was a bit sad, knowing that I'll never be back in front of the displays, but I guess it's time to move on...
