I just woke up after only about four hours sleep with an unconquerable desire to check-in with GFY. This is either evidence of the subjective nature of 'time' at tradeshows, or an unhealthy addiction to GFY... you bastards!
I just want to be one of the first to chime in and say - BRAVO for a fabulous get-together at the GFY warm-up party! First-off, (for you, KB and Darren...) it was in the ballroom you threw the Players Ball a few years ago... so, very fond memories of great (and missed) times gone by! Also, honestly, I was a little nervous at first about this event happening in a ballroom... as opposed to, say, that fabulous boat of past... but you know what? It was fabulous!!! ... What a FANTASTIC crowd! Truly! You couldn't have asked for a better (which may be subjective, too, but I challenge anyone to disagree...) group of friends, associates and colourful characters in one room! A true testament to the the power of the ... community? ... soap opera...? ... whatever we perceive it as... I say, POWER of GFY! I'm hard-pressed to think of anyone who was 'missing' from this Powerhouse of Personality! It was a true and genuine pleasure to see and spend some valued time with (all too briefly of course) so many of you incredibly colourful characters!
