I remember listening to the radio when Wonderbra was being discussed as a "technological marvel." Apparently, unlike the old "push up" bras, Wonderbra uses a "cantilever" technology.

I'm no architect, but I've taken enough Art History classes to know that "cantilever" normally refers to building support [ex. Frank Lloyd Wright] when buildings stick out from hillsides or other off balance areas. I guess it makes sense in this context...using cantilevers to make mountains out of molehills
