Blogs have been around if you consider text / online diaries have been around.
The idea of the blog is a fad. I promise you that the term "blog" will be a thing of the past in one year. However, the concept itself will always be lucrative and enticing. But CNN will not always have the blog news cut they now offfer on TV.
Baddog, I am not condemning it. I am set up to offer free hosted blogs
And I will be prepared to offer free hosted werbbers if that is what they are called next.
