My farther was great. he earned my respect and I gave it to him everyday. I still miss him. My mother on the other hand was a manipulator and an all around spiteful bitch for a long time. I spent 30 years trying to get a little love from her but finally gave up. After not talking to her, or about her, for almost 7 years, we are finally on speaking terms. I would descibe it as civil.. but not nice.
