Read the part where it says Daily average and look under the Visits column. That's how much traffic you get daily. The Hits column counts just that, hits. Means it tracks every single hit to every single file loading on each visit. A single surfer will generate anything from 3-4 to 100's of hits per visit, depending on how many files on your site he accesses and how many files (images, videos) you have per page.
