At first, when I read what you said, I thought it made good sense... An entry page with content on it. But then I saw it another way... I have a warning page for a reason... Putting adult content on it would be kindof silly, wouldn't it? Might be worth bending my warning page policy for good traffic, but I am dubious.

I am interested in sources of more premium traffic that might work, but I don't have a lot to spend. (I know, I know... but you can see my bank balance if you want. Investment only works when you have capital...) So I figured that this sort of range ($6 or less per 1k hits) would be a good start to see how it might work out.
