That's a bad pic, but I'm guessing the Pit survived. I'm also guessing the porcupine is dead.
I always thought skunks were badass animals but my dog has killed two so far, he's a sweet dog but any animal that comes into the yard is risking it's life. He knows not to chase cats, but opossums, skunks, whatever, are in serious danger.
