And honestly I don't think you need to make it free. "If you build it, they will come." Give people a reason to go and they will. The Cancun show seems to be a pretty good success, people love it, I did last year and will probably go again next year.

alot of resorts there will deal with you and something like that as they dont get that kind of buy out. have to think like them. they are sitting on 100 unbooked rooms at 200 a night, or rent them all for a discount
10-15k on booze n food is a low number, so lets say 11 sponsors go onboard, youve got an extra 10k to play with, so youve now got 25k for food n booze.
why not free? i mean for all the hard work that webmasters put forth into programs, and programs are spending this money on advertising anyways, why not give it back to the people who have helped them earn it over the years?
or we could charge 300 bucks a head, and listen to distain after distained thread on how we are blood sucking vampires out to milk the last penny out of webmasters pocket to fill our own greed lust.
