It has nothing to do with "cheap"...If you can get the EXACT same functionality for free that you could get for $30, it would be stupid NOT to do it...That's like a corporation choosing to pay somebody $30 an hour to pull a switch all day when they can pay a chinaman $30 a MONTH...If you get the same thing cheaper, you'll take it...Ever heard of the saying "Better/cheaper"?...Try using your argument on somebody like Warren Buffet who wears a cheap watch and flies coach and he would laugh at you.
Since 90% of my money comes from my own site and I rarely check all of my sponsors stats anyway, I saw no need to get a stats program of ANY kind...But since this one came along free, I tried it and I'm glad I did.
Now US hasn't reached that stage yet but they could and if they reach the same functionality for free then it would be dumb to still pay $30 a month for the same thing just so you can say that you aren't "cheap".
