I used to do day labor years ago.....Too bad that they STILL only pay $35 a day cause that's what I made back in the nineties......And don't ride their van to the job or they'll deduct $2 from your check.

I've picked up trash, shoveled horse shit, and plenty of other demeaning jobs where each hour feels like two hours...
