Did you drink 'em on a full stomach?
While playing hookey in HS I drank 2/3 of a bottle of Gin at someones house on a full stomach. Felt so good 1/2 an hour later I told 'em I'd walk home. I got progressively drunker walking down the boulevard, last thing I remember was being on my hands and knees in a store parking lot, seeing a pair of black boots in front of me, and looking up to see a cop.
I was still shitfaced when I woke up in the drunk tank 5 hours later.
