Don't ask.
When I started in this biz it was at $1.46
It eventually went up as high as $160, and one incredible day it hit $162 for the buy rate. I moved thousands from my US account to my Cdn account that day and made a killing.
$1.50 to $1.55 was the norm for a long long time back then.
