A Short Anarchist Rant (Business Related)

So I'm an anarchist, see. Not that it matters per se -- I didn't come here to talk politics, and neither did you.

But sometimes it touches on the adult business. How? Because, being an anarchist, I see the government as just another gang, like the Mafia. They're bigger and they have better PR, but at bottom, their business model involves shaking down people at gunpoint and spending the proceeds for the benefit of the goons at the top of the organization. Pay your taxes, or you might suffer a little accident, oh yes you might. Count on it.

One of the things this means is that you'll never hear about me calling the cops. Calling the cops is a violent act, like pointing a gun at someone in threatening fashion. I don't believe in doing that unless I'm defending myself, in which case, I might as well pull my own damn trigger. If I call the cops on someone, it's morally identical to chasing them down the street with my own gun. I don't really approve of that sort of thing, but if the circumstances warrant, a man ought to have the balls to do his own dirty work.

And now the point of the lesson: Would you do business with a person who is known for pulling a gun when they have a problem with someone? I sure wouldn't. And for the same reason, I wouldn't do business with anybody who is known for calling the cops.

Or the FBI, if you get my drift.

People who would do that are dangerous, like rabid dogs. They have no morals, no ethics, and no self-respect. No character.

J. Pierpont Morgan (a man known for his business acumen and success) is reputed to have said "I wouldn't buy anything from a man with no character, even if he offered me all the bonds in Christendom." Good advice, I'd say.

And that's my anarchist rant of the day. Moral: Don't do business with people who brag about calling the FBI.
