Sounds just wonderfull in theory. Yet the 1st admendment also legitimizes us.
I just do not trust the Government with any sort of power over free speach. Those that happen to know some history should relize this is exactly what they did to illegalize drugs. First they taxed them and you needed stamps to sell or grow them. Then they stopped giving out new stamps and tightened the grip on who could give them out. Then presto they made a wide selection of drugs illegal.
On another note, typically when the Government gets its fingers into any tax pie. It generally comes back for bigger and bigger chunks. Just take a small gander at the ciggerette taxes. Then even with those the ciggerette companies are still targeted. Oh and a side note, a lot of the ciggerette taxes do not even go to where they are supposed to go. Yet they want more and more.
Anyone agree or dissagree?

I sort of agree but not with your reasoning.
The above mentioned items. ( smokes and drugs) have proven to cause long term health problems.
Masturbation on the other hand ( pun intended) is normal , healthy , and good for you.
Are their addictions to porn?? YES
Are their addictions to Starbucks??? charge them an extra 25%
Protect the children??? How about CCBill and Epoch calling the local Department of Family Services on every customer that calls cancels and says their child signed up?? Child neglect!!!! running rampent in the U.S.A and the government is not responsible to raise my child. I Am. Seems like the Department of Family services should look into these households and do some inspections to make sure the child is in a safe and monitored enviornment. They same way the DOJ can knock on our doors for an inspection.
</ end my Lenny type rant>
