The FSC did have someone comment on the 25% tax on either the nbc or the abc news broadcast. He mentioned that it would be a form of censure and would open a back door for congress too target other forms of expression in the future.
As for the argument that kids don't have credit cards I'll just say get your head out of the '80's. Pre-teens have them now and I'd bet that a majority of teens carry their own cards now; not just companion cards either. Using credit cards as a form of age verification is not very effective. They were talking about drivers licenses or passport numbers but I don't think that will ever happen due too privacy concerns.
On a positive note some sites probably had a nice spike in traffic from the free promo. CyberErotica was used twice in the one segment.
