As for the prelogin ID, I don't agree with that. If a 14 year old tries to buy cigarettes, they'll get ID'd. But they don't ID them when they walk into 7-11.

It would be nice to see the industry at least attempt to self-regulate, and try to make a serious effort to block out minors. For example something like the industry leaders getting together and forcing affiliates to start rating all their sites with a rating system like the ICRA, and make it easier for parents to block us. It's not going to put an end to the problem but it's going to at least show society that some efforts are being made on our part. It's something that can be done but of course larger companies would need to step up to legitimize it as a new order among the industry.
