OK guys and gals, the number one question being asked of us tonight is about the software platform required by MAVIS to run.
To answer it for one and all and to avoid any future confusion, MAVIS is a stand-alone Windows based software application. MAVIS does not run on a server, it is not a server based application. MAVIS was designed to run on any Windows based computer from 98SE to XP Pro.The SCAT module does run on your server, it is a .php script. The output files created by SCAT are then pulled down to your local machine and imported into the database.
