hey man... thanks for thinking of us. We haven't had the baby yet. We were there almost all day but are back home for the time being now....
They checked her out and it turns out that her cervix is very solid... that means that they can't break her water or anything.
So, from 8am to 3pm, we were there being watched and tested and checked and poked and prodded.....
They injected her with gel to soften the cervix. It has one of 3 effects... it can
a) do nothing.
b) move her system along, thus inducing labour
c) soften her cervix so that the doctor can induce the labour
So now we're home again and scheduled to be back at the hospital tomorrow morning at 8am once again.
This is getting so frustrating... I just want to be done with this part and have the baby
