Man - ya'll woulda had a field day if you had been alive during Vietnam - we had 10 year old kids running into groups of soldiers detonating grenades and the GIs that fought back were played in the news here as kid killers and family wreckers. Oh yeah and the media now labels them as massacres.

I would hate to see if the media was ever really able to show the pictures and video of what war is really like - hell they aren't even allowed to show the coffins coming home to Dover Deleware like we used to have on the front of every newspaper in the US back then.
If you elect people to run the US that are going to war - then you have to live with the fact that people are going to get tortured, killed and maimed - its just a fact - but I guess its not politically correct to think that we should have a war with injuries - comes from watching too much "shock and awe" and not realizing that those bomb blasts are killing thousands of children at the same time.
