I wish I could put it in the trunk. Had my window smashed once for my radar detector (all they saw was the clip on the window, the detector was hidden, oh yeah, they found it anyways haha) So I'am a tad paranoid. Figure Tint and my alarm might help a bit.. I have the clifford responder, so running down to my car with a baseball bat is not out of the question.
