i met joe at the IA2000 (currently known as internext) in las vegas back in '98. i actually was there because of YNOT Rick (i did t-shirts for YNOT network that year). anyhow, JoeE was running Traffic Cash, met him @ a dinner @ Rio with a few industry big wigs & we hit it off. he hired me to replace JD (his traffic guy at the time) because he liked me & i was just a kid trying to get in the biz running my own little sites. i let him know i wasn't a traffic guru but he didn't care... i think he just hired me cuz he liked me & wanted to give me a hand.

anyhow... he got me setup with an apartment in ft lauderdale & we worked daily out of that little "shitty hole of an office in a strip mall" on the beach. Joe would take us out for lunch & try help us to relax even offering us a joint on some occasions - it was fun but after a while, JB (the more business minded, biz stickler in the partnership) saw i was not that useful & fired my ass. i was mad but looking back i don't blame him... he's a shrewed, cunning business man. i respect him but i do think he did JoeE in the whole breakup... Traffic Cash wouldn't be SHIT without JoeE & IMO he just deserved better.

anyhow... i'm sad to see his going thru some issues but knowing JoeE & the things he's been thru in life, this is just a bump in the road. JoeE is my nigga & will always be. keep ya head up man... hopefully i'll be lucky enough to sit in your presence again at another dinner.
