You say that like I have control over the matter. You've never met a chronic nail bitter/picker? I pick the nails and rip the nail until they are that close. Look close, do it look like a nail clipper could get that close? Have you ever seen a nail biter? Watch close, I bet the hide their hands a lot. I do. It's fuckin' embarrasing. I always have a little tiny spot of blood in the corner of one nail somewhere. Or a tiny scab, or super sensitive fingers because I bite them way to close.
It would take months of growing my nails to get cotton under them. No way Jose.
Asking me to stop biting my nails is like me asking you to stop blinking your eyelids. It's not gonna happen. And I don't even realize it's happening until I look at my bloddy stumpy fingers.
