Until trailers get to true Hollywood-pro levels of anticipationa and buildup, I don't think we need to go to the extreme level you mentioned above.
There's a big difference between the typical "20-seconds uncut of one position and no editing" that most sites use as trailers, versus a 30-second pro-edited with music overlay and quick cuts trailer done by an expert. Most people just don't want to pay to have it done right.
