Yeah, a shaved snapper is a little better than a hairy snapper. These days most snappers aren't hairy, it depends what side of the ocean you're on. Off the coast of some countries snappers are often hairy, here in the states they're usually shaved. But boy oh boy, some of them just smell like fish.
