Oh I figured that's why you gave it tuna (have you figured out if it's a guy or a girl yet??!!) .. I didn't mean to imply you didn't know anything about taking care of cats.. I was just rambling on like I often do!
as for flea collar - often they suggest you wait til they're 3 months old - but you could talk to the vet about Advantage/Revolution - not sure if they have it for kittens that young, but that stuff is great, keeps the fleas off, but you have to do it once a month - thankfully with cats it's not THAT expensive.. myself, I have St Bernard dog, and she needs a LOT of that stuff each month (big $$)..
but from my knowledge (used to work in boarding kennels/cattery MANY years ago) cats shouldn't be put onto a flea collar til they're at least 12 weeks old.. oh, you also have to think about the shots they need too.. and if it's a girl you'll probly want her spayed so she doesn't get busy with all the tomcats!
damn, pets are expensive!
