Freedom of speech is alive and well! Just use terms like "protecting the homeland", "insurgents", "allowing others to realize the meaning of democracy", "illegal aliens", "under God" and ya could give a speech five hours long in Washington.

Elsewhere, they may tell ya to go fuck yourself, - others often actually practice freedom of speech as a norm and often as part of a democracy in the true sense.
