Hey there! I admit that did take your post a tad in the wrong way, but I wasn't at all offended. I had just gotten up and was maybe a little grouchy!
As far as Hitlers beliefs go, I confess that I haven't been able to get through Mein Kampf for the same reasons you mentioned, so I can't really contest that. I do know that Hitler made *alot* of theological prononcements in his speeches from the 20's-mid 30's, like the following..
"When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those..<snip>" - From "My New Order"
However its always arguable he was just saying it for political purposes. Bolstering that, as I'm sure you know, is the fact his speeches began to get progressively more anti-christian after the mid-30's when he started seeing certain christians (Bonhoeffer? Niemoller?) as a threat. He did believe in reincarnation late in his life, which is very strange, and (I think..) in some sort of supreme guiding force, but hell, I can't be bothered to look up all the crap necessary to argue this properly either.. lol.
Time to break out the beer and the BBQ!
Thanks for an interesting discussion!

Have a good 4th
